Elham Village Hall is an outstanding wedding venue We are approved by Kent County Council as a venue for the solemnisation of civil marriages and the formation of civil partnerships.Situated in the beautiful Elham Valley, this well appointed modern village hall contains two well equipped entertaining and dining facilities. Approval Licence>> Wedding Facilities Main Hall The facility easily accommodates wedding receptions, celebration parties and special events.It offers flexible seating arrangements : round or rectangular tables.Large rectangular space measuring 17.7 m x 10 m plus a raised stage area measuring 10 m x 4.5 mFully equipped stage for live entertainment. Sound system and associated PA to cater for all musical platforms. See Floor Plans >> Capacity: 180 seated at tables and dancing - 200 close seated. Large attractive terrace - Perfect for a summer wedding ceremony complete with gazebo (Please note we no longer provide a marquee but can put you in touch with companies that will provide this service). Well equipped commercial kitchen. External or self catering welcome. We have arrangements with a number of local caterers and service providers for all events large or small. Bar area and Bar (not bookable in isolation) Bar area with glass atrium. Separate bar with large serving hatch, under bar drinks fridge and fridge, sink and a wide variety of glassware and glass water jugs. (Can be linked to the John Neumark Hall or the Peggy Pike room to make a larger space). The bar service and drinks can be managed and provided for an extra charge by Elham Village Hall Association on request.
WEDDING PACKAGE This includes the main hall, Peggy Pike room, kitchen and bar from 15:30 on Friday to 13.00 on Sunday. We are able to offer a 'Wedding Reception Package' that allows you access to the whole venue between 3.30pm on the Friday through to 1.00pm on the Sunday (this is assuming that you are getting married on a Saturday). We ask for a £150 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. CHARGES.Reception Only - £1300 Ceremony - £150 Reception + Ceremony - £1450 Please note that we will guarantee these wedding charges for bookings up to two years ahead. For bookings more than two years ahead, charges will be subject to review and may increase. CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL HIRERS We apply a sliding scale of fees in the event of cancellation. These apply to the balance of the hiring fee or your hire charge in the case of regular hirers. Within one month of your hire - 25% of the hiring fee. Within two weeks of your hire - 50% of the hiring fee. Less than a week - no refund will be given. Please note that if you do not show up for your hire but do not tell us we will invoice you for the full hire.
