Elham
Village Hall

About Us

The present Village Hall was part funded by the Millennium Commission, and opened in 1999 to replace the 60 year old building (which started life as two army huts). Elham Village Hall is nestled in the heart of the Elham Valley, on the edge of the pretty village of Elham with its church, village square and characterful pubs and tearoom. Elham was the childhood home of legendry film star Audrey Hepburn who, it is said, made her acting debut in the village. Surrounded by spacious gardens with panoramic views of the valley to the rear, Elham Village Hall is the perfect venue for your special event. With its large main hall, ceremony room, bar and kitchen, it is an ideal location for a country wedding or civil partnership celebration, and we now have a beautiful licensed wedding gazebo so you can even hold your ceremony outdoors.

We welcome enquiries from potential hirers and would be pleased to give you a tour of our stunning hall.
Please email our bookingsecretary.evh@gmail.com and we can arrange this for you.

The Village Hall has been awarded the Hallmark 1 certificate for meeting the requirements of the quality standards scheme for village halls.
Achievement of the certification is an assurance to our hirers (current and prospective) and our community at large that the Village Hall is being managed correctly and efficiently.
