Accessibility
Accessibility statement
Prepared: 3 November 2026.
Elham Village Hall Association wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a keyboard, screen reader, zoom or a mobile device. The site has been designed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its working standard.
How the website is designed to help
- Structured headings and clear page sections.
- Visible keyboard focus and labelled form controls.
- Descriptive link text and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Layouts that reflow at different screen sizes and remain usable when text is enlarged.
- Direct PDF links instead of an inaccessible flipbook.
Known limitations
Some historic newsletter PDFs were not created as fully accessible documents and may be difficult to use with assistive technology. Some third-party websites linked from this site are outside the Association’s control. If you need information in a different format, email booking@elhamvillagehall.co.uk and explain what you need.
Report a problem
To report an accessibility problem, email the same address or choose Website accessibility or technical issue in the general enquiry form. The Association will consider the request and reply as soon as reasonably possible.
Access to the Hall
There is designated disabled parking. The Anna Clayton Room is upstairs and has a chairlift. Visitors with particular access needs should contact the Hall team before visiting so that routes, facilities and practical arrangements can be explained.
